Several of CDP’s Neighborhood Centers received grants from the Northern New York Community Foundation.  Canton Neighborhood Center received $1000 which was used to purchase food for their summer food program.  The Colton/Parishville/Pierrepont Center received $500 which was also used for a summer food program.  Potsdam Center received $500 to assist with the cost of their summer PB&J program and $1000 to purchase food from the Food Bank of Central New York to assist families in the Potsdam area.  Massena Neighborhood Center received $1000 as well to provide food to low-income families in the Massena area.  The Gouverneur Neighborhood Center purchased gift cards for milk with the $500 that they received.  Thank you to the Northern New York Community Foundation for their support of the Neighborhood Center food pantries who assist families in need in St. Lawrence County to improve their quality of life along with their nutrition.
